Cathedral of Saint Domnius

One of the oldest cathedrals in the world, originally built as Diocletian's mausoleum in the 4th century, and converted into a Christian church in the 7th century. The Romanesque-Gothic bell tower offers a panoramic view of the old town and harbor. Located inside Diocletian's Palace on the Peristyle.

The combined ticket for the cathedral and bell tower costs around 7 EUR. Climbing the bell tower (separate ticket ~4 EUR) offers an excellent view of the Peristyle and the surrounding area. The church is active, so visitors should be mindful of their dress code and ongoing masses.
