Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ

The Orthodox Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ, consecrated in 2012, is one of the important contemporary religious buildings in Tirana. Its domed architecture, tall bell tower, and spacious interior featuring mosaics and an iconostasis make it stand out in the city center. The cathedral is also a symbol of the revival of Orthodox religious life in Albania following the communist period, during which the public practice of religion was forbidden.
