Colfosco and the Church of St. Vigilius

Colfosco is a hamlet of Corvara set on a gentle slope towards the Gardena Pass, with the Church of St. Vigilius whose slender bell tower stands out against the walls of the Sella massif. A leisurely walk across the meadows leads there from Corvara, a path that remains open to walkers even in winter, with views of the Sassongher and the Sella. Colfosco is quieter than Corvara and makes an excellent starting point for trails towards the pass.
