A Romanesque bell tower of the cathedral dating from the 12th century, known for its visible tilt of approximately 4 degrees caused by soft ground. Climbing to the top (294 steps) offers a view of the Piazza dei Miracoli and the city. Entry is strictly time-limited — booking online well in advance of your visit is essential.
Ticket includes access to the tower with a time slot. Online purchase is recommended 2-4 weeks in advance, especially during peak season. Children under 8 years of age and pregnant women do not have access.
