Marco Polo House

The Renaissance house that local tradition associates with the family of Marco Polo is one of the most visited landmarks in Korčula. The museum exhibition follows the story of the famous explorer and his travels, while from the top of the tower there is a view over the rooftops of the old town, the harbor, and the Pelješac Channel. Regardless of the historical debates about the place of his birth, the house has become an important part of Korčula's identity.
