An 18th-century house where Muhammad Ali, the founder of the modern Egyptian dynasty, was born. Today it is arranged as a museum dedicated to his life and the historical ties between Kavala and Egypt.
The museum is closed on Mondays. Tickets are purchased on-site. Photography inside the house is allowed without flash.
