Lavatoio Medievale

A medieval public washhouse from the 12th century carved into the rock below street level, in the historic center of Cefalù. Water still flows through 16 stone basins that were in use until the 20th century. It is one of the best preserved structures of its kind in Sicily and is located near the shore.
