Crveni krst Concentration Camp

Crveni krst Concentration Camp

Crveni krst Concentration Camp is a memorial complex housed in the building of a former concentration camp established by the German occupation authorities in Niš in 1941. It held Serbian, Jewish, Roma, and other prisoners, a number of whom perished at the nearby Bubanj or were deported to other camps. The present-day museum exhibition preserves documents, photographs, and objects related to the lives of the prisoners and the organized breakout of February 12, 1942.
