Chrysopigi Monastery

Chrysopigi Monastery

A white 17th-century monastery is situated on a small rocky peninsula, connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it is one of the most important religious symbols of Sifnos and remains an active monastery. From this location, there are views of the Aegean Sea and the rocky coastline of the island.
