Monastery and Church of Saint Dominic

The Dominican monastery and Gothic church were built in the 14th century, right on the waterfront not far from the Kamerlengo fortress. Above the main portal stands a relief from 1372, the work of Venetian master Nikola Dente, depicting Bitkula Kažotić kneeling before the Virgin Mary alongside his brother, Blessed Augustin Kažotić, while the interior houses the tomb of the Sobota family, a work by Nikola Firentinac from the 15th century. The complex also includes a cloister with a garden and a well.
