Podmaine Monastery

A 15th-century Orthodox monastery nestled at the foot of a hill above Budva, approximately 3 km from the city center. The complex consists of two churches — the older one dedicated to the Dormition of the Mother of God and the younger one dating from the 18th century. The peaceful surroundings and historical architecture attract both pilgrims and tourists looking for an escape from the coastal crowds.
