Savina Monastery

A Serbian Orthodox monastery with an 18th-century Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God and the older Church of St. Sava from the 14th-15th century, set in a pine forest above the sea. The monastery preserves valuable icons and manuscripts. Its peaceful surroundings and views over the Bay of Kotor make it a place of regular pilgrimage.
