The largest and oldest monastery in Meteora, founded in the 14th century on a plateau at an elevation of approximately 613 meters. Within the complex there is a museum featuring Byzantine icons, manuscripts, and monastic life utensils. Access is possible via steps carved into the rock — approximately 300 steps.
Ticket 3 EUR includes access to the church and museum. Closed on Tuesdays and certain Orthodox holidays. It is recommended to check the schedule before arriving.
