Meštrović Gallery

The former residence of the most famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović (1883-1962) today houses the largest collection of his sculptures, drawings, watercolors, photographs, and personal belongings. The gallery is situated on the slopes of Marjan hill, overlooking the sea and the port of Split. The villa itself (1931-1939) is an architectural gem that Meštrović designed as his summer residence and studio. The garden features monumental sculptures in stone and bronze.
