Metropolis — Cathedral of Saint Demetrius

The oldest church in Mystras, built in the late 13th century. In 1449, Constantine XI Palaiologos, the last Byzantine emperor, was crowned here. Within the complex there is also a small museum with frescoes and archaeological finds.
