Ponte Dom Luís I

A two-story steel arch bridge from 1886 that spans the Douro River and connects Porto with Vila Nova de Gaia. It was designed by Théophile Seyrig, a former associate of Gustave Eiffel. The upper level of the bridge offers one of the most famous views of Porto's historic core and the Douro River.
