Apoxiomenos Museum

The museum houses the original ancient bronze statue of Apoxyomenos, which was spotted on the seabed near the island of Lošinj by a diver in 1997 and recovered in 1999. The statue of an athlete from the 1st century BC is one of the best-preserved ancient bronze sculptures in the world, and is displayed in a specially designed museum in the center of Mali Lošinj.
