Ethnographic Museum of Gjirokastër

Housed in a typical 18th-century Ottoman tower-house, the museum displays the everyday life of Albanian families of that period — furniture, clothing, tools, and household objects. The house was the home of a family that emigrated, and it has been preserved in almost its original condition. It offers a better insight into the traditional way of life than simply walking the streets.
