Trogir City Museum

Trogir City Museum

The Trogir City Museum is housed in the Garagnin-Fanfogna palace, right by the city gates. The complex consists of two blocks of Romanesque and Gothic houses, joined and expanded into a single unified whole in the second half of the 18th century. The permanent collection takes visitors through an archaeological exhibition spanning from prehistory to the early 20th century, as well as a collection of medieval and early modern cultural history. On the northern late-Baroque floor is the Garagnin Library, with its well-preserved early 19th-century interior, along with a lapidarium featuring stone monuments, an ethnographic collection, and the Garagnin family salon with its furniture and portraits.
