Mario Rimoldi Museum of Modern Art

The museum is housed in the Ciasa de ra Regoles, the Regola building on Corso Italia, and was founded in the 1970s from a collection donated to the Regole by the widow of Cortina-based collector and hotelier Mario Rimoldi. The collection features works by Italian painters of the 20th century and reflects an era when Cortina was a gathering place for artists and writers. The museum is right in the town centre and makes an excellent choice for a rainy day.
