Museum of Broken Relationships

A private museum located in the baroque Kulmer Palace in the Upper Town, opened in 2010, displaying objects donated by former couples from around the world, each accompanied by a short story about an ended relationship. Every exhibit is paired with an authentic personal account from its donor, ranging from humorous to deeply emotional stories. The museum received the European Museum of the Year Award in 2011 and is today one of the most visited attractions in Zagreb.
