Museum of the First Romanian School

The Museum of the First Romanian School is located in the historic Șchei quarter, in a building adjacent to the Church of Saint Nicholas, and preserves the memory of the first school in the Romanian language. The collection includes old books, manuscripts and the first printing press, including works from the 16th century related to the beginnings of literacy in Romanian. It is one of the important sites of Romanian cultural history in Brașov.
