Museum of Art and History (MAH)

Museum of Art and History (MAH)

The museum building, designed by architect Marc Camoletti, opened in 1910. Its collection numbers around 650,000 objects, of which only a small portion is on permanent display. It covers three areas: applied arts, fine arts, and archaeology. Among the exhibits are paintings, sculptures, prints, furniture, weapons, musical instruments, textiles, clocks, enamelware, and jewellery. The museum sits on the edge of the Old Town, making it easy to incorporate into a stroll after visiting the Cathedral.
