Located within the walls of the kastro fortress, the museum displays Byzantine and post-Byzantine artifacts, including ecclesiastical silverware, icons, and manuscripts. The building itself is part of an Ottoman complex that includes the Fethiye Mosque. The exhibition provides an overview of the development of craftsmanship and religious art in the region across several centuries.
The ticket is purchased at the entrance to the museum inside the kastro complex. A combined ticket with the Ali Pasha Museum may be available at a more favorable price.
