National History Museum

The largest museum in Bulgaria, located in the former residence of communist leader Todor Zhivkov in the Boyana suburb. It houses more than 650,000 exhibits, including golden Thracian treasures and Roman artifacts. The museum is easily reached by city bus or taxi.
