National Museum of Archaeology

The museum is housed in the former 17th-century Auberge de Provence and holds the most significant finds from Malta's prehistory. Among the most famous exhibits are the figurine 'Sleeping Lady of Ħal Saflieni', approximately 5,000 years old, and original decorations from the megalithic temples, among the oldest surviving stone structures in the world.
