A fortress situated on a hill above the town of Hvar, built in the early 19th century during French administration. Today it is known for its spectacular panoramic views of the town of Hvar, the Pakleni Islands, and the surrounding archipelago. Within the fortress there is also an astronomical observatory, one of the few on the Croatian islands.
The ticket provides access to the fortress and the panoramic viewpoint overlooking the city and the Pakleni Islands. A morning visit is recommended due to the heat during the walk up.
