The harbour and coastal promenade of Ammouliani form the heart of the island's only settlement. This small fishing village is adorned with traditional Greek architecture, a colourful harbour, and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere. The central square along the waterfront is surrounded by local tavernas, a church, and shops selling locally made products. It is an ideal place to discover the everyday life of the islanders and watch the fishing boats in the harbour.
The visit is completely free of charge. The ferry from Tripiti (Halkidiki) arrives directly at the village harbor — the ride takes about 10 minutes.
