Navigli

A system of historic canals that served for centuries as a transport route for goods through Milan, and today represents the most vibrant district for evening outings and aperitivo. Along the Naviglio Grande and Naviglio Pavese canals, bars, restaurants, galleries, and small artisan shops line the waterways, while a stroll along the water offers a different and more relaxed atmosphere than the city's business center. It is particularly popular at sunset when the terraces fill up with locals and visitors alike.
