A 16th-century Venetian fortress dominates the northwestern part of the city and offers views of the harbor and the old town. At the top stands the Lion of Saint Mark, the symbol of the Venetian Republic.
Admission is paid at the gate; the price is nominal. The rooftop terraces are open throughout the entire working hours and do not require an additional ticket.
