St. Moritz–Celerina Olympic Bob Run

St. Moritz–Celerina Olympic Bob Run

The bob run between St. Moritz and Celerina is the oldest and the only natural ice bobsled track in the world: it stretches 1,722 metres and is rebuilt by hand every winter. The track opened in 1904 and has hosted the Winter Olympic Games in 1928 and 1948, as well as 25 World Championships. Guests can ride in a four-person bob seated between the pilot and the brakeman — the run lasts around 75 seconds, reaches speeds of 130 km/h, and is subject to specific requirements for participants. A 1.5 km educational walking trail called the Walk of Fame runs alongside the track. The bob run operates in winter only, from late December to early March.
