Onufri Museum

The museum is housed in a former cathedral within the walls of Kale and holds one of the most significant collections of religious art in Albania. The most notable exhibits are the icons of the painter Onufri, a 16th-century master whose distinctive style left a profound mark on the Orthodox art of the Balkans. The combination of historic architecture and an art collection makes this place an important part of the cultural identity of Berat.
