An archipelago of several islands and islets located just off the town of Hvar, known for its crystal-clear sea, hidden coves, and lush Mediterranean vegetation. The most visited islands are Sveti Klement, Marinkovac, and Jerolim, which attract visitors with beautiful beaches, restaurants, and numerous opportunities for swimming and sailing. The Pakleni Islands are easily reached by water taxi or excursion boats from Hvar harbour.

Water taxis depart regularly from Hvar's waterfront promenade during the season (June–September), a return ticket usually costs 3–8 EUR per person depending on the destination. It is recommended to set off in the morning in order to secure a good spot on the beach.
