Palais Rohan

Palais Rohan

Palais Rohan is an 18th-century Baroque building erected along the Ill River near the cathedral, and was once the residence of the prince-bishops of Strasbourg. Today it houses three city museums — fine arts, decorative arts, and archaeology — with collections displayed in the palace's historic rooms. The stately apartments and Neoclassical architecture represent an important part of the city's cultural heritage.
