Palazzo d'Avalos

Palazzo d'Avalos

A Renaissance palace from the 16th century that served as a prison for several centuries, closing only in 1988. Today the complex is gradually being restored and can be visited as part of organized tours, while the museum spaces and former cells bear witness to the turbulent history of Procida.
