Pantokrator Fortress

Pantokrator fortress is located on the coast south of the center of Preveza, in a strategic position at the entrance to the Ambracian Gulf. The fortification dates from the 19th century and is part of a broader defense system protecting this important maritime passage. Its seaside position offers views toward the gulf, the coastline, and the opposite shore near Actium, making the fortress interesting both for its history and its coastal setting.
