Retiro Park

Retiro Park

A former royal estate transformed into a large city park with wide promenades, a lake, gardens, and numerous monuments. Together with the Paseo del Prado avenue, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2021 as part of the 'Landscape of Light'. Among the most notable parts of the park are the Crystal Palace and the large lake with rowing boats available for hire.
