Dundo Forest Park

A protected holm oak forest on the Kalifront peninsula, in the northwestern part of the island of Rab near Kampor, is one of the densest and oldest preserved forests of this type on the Adriatic. A network of hiking trails runs through the park, leading to quiet coves. The trees are several hundred years old, and the atmosphere is completely different from the coastal beaches.

Entrance to the park is free of charge. The trails are not always clearly marked, so it is advisable to pick up a map at the Rab tourist board. Lighting fires and camping are prohibited.
