An elliptical square that has preserved the exact shape of a 2nd-century Roman amphitheater, visible also in the outlines of the surrounding buildings erected directly on ancient foundations. Cafes and shops line the square, and the space remains lively throughout the day and evening. Access is through four narrow passages in the residential block that surrounds the square.
