Pyramid of Tirana

The Pyramid is one of Tirana's most recognizable structures, built in 1988 originally as a museum dedicated to Enver Hoxha. After the fall of communism it served various purposes, and following renovation it was transformed into a modern cultural and educational space. Its steps and terraces offer views over the surrounding part of the city, while the building itself stands as a striking example of the way Tirana reshapes the legacy of the socialist period.
