Plaka Castle

Plaka Castle

The remains of a 13th-century Venetian fortress are located at the highest point of the capital of Milos. A short path through the narrow streets of Plaka leads to the castle, and from the top there is a panoramic view of the Bay of Milos, the surrounding villages, and the Aegean Sea. It is one of the most famous spots on the island for watching the sunset.
