Ponts Couverts

Ponts Couverts

Ponts Couverts is a series of bridges with three stone towers, remnants of the medieval city fortifications on the channels of the Ill River, at the entrance to the La Petite France quarter. Although they were once covered, they are now open, but have retained their name and distinctive towers. Together with the nearby dam, they form one of the most beautiful views of old Strasbourg.
