Tri Zinne Show Dairy

The Tri Zinne dairy cooperative was founded in 1882, and at its show dairy visitors can see how milk from the surrounding mountain farms is turned into cheese. The tour begins with a museum section on the history of dairying in the Upper Puster Valley, continues with a view through glass onto the production floor, and ends in the cellar where rounds of cheese are left to mature. At the conclusion of the visit, cheeses can be sampled and purchased in the dairy shop. The process is best observed in the morning, when production is running at full capacity; children find the tour particularly engaging.
