Dürnstein Landing Stage — Departures Through the Wachau

The pier is right in the village, on the bank below the monastery, and from there excursion boats sail along the Danube through the Wachau — upstream towards Spitz and Melk, downstream towards Krems. From the water you see what the road cannot show you: terraced vineyards, ruins, and villages pressed tight against the river. Excursion cruises are seasonal and run from spring to autumn.
