Roman City Walls (Mura di Lucca)

Renaissance walls from the 16th and 17th centuries, approximately 4.2 km long, one of the few in Italy to have remained completely intact. Along the top of the walls, a promenade and cycling path have been laid out, popular with both locals and visitors. Access is free, with several entry ramps distributed around the city.
