Roman Forum

The main square of ancient Zadar, built between the 1st century BC and the 3rd century AD. The site preserves remains of columns, temple foundations, and parts of the original paving that bear witness to the importance of the former Roman colony. The Forum is located in the heart of the old town, between the Church of St. Donatus and the Archaeological Museum.
