Roman Bridge over the Guadalquivir

Roman Bridge over the Guadalquivir

A stone bridge approximately 250 meters long crosses the Guadalquivir river, connecting the historic center of Córdoba with the Calahorra Tower. It was built during the Roman period and was restored multiple times during Visigoth and Moorish rule. From the bridge, there are views of the Mezquita-Catedral, the Calahorra Tower, and the Guadalquivir river, which is why it is especially popular during the late afternoon hours.
