Rocca di Montestaffoli

Rocca di Montestaffoli

Remains of a fortress from 1353, built by Florence after it took control of the city. Within the ruins there is now a public park with olive trees and grapevines, and one tower has been partially reconstructed. From this elevated position, panoramic views stretch southward over the vineyards and hills of Val d'Elsa.
