Marafor and the Pentagonal Tower

Marafor is the former Roman forum and one of the most significant ancient sites in Poreč, where the remains of Roman temples from the 1st century can still be seen today, including preserved parts of the Temple of Neptune. Not far from the forum stands the Pentagonal Tower, part of the medieval defensive system of the city. Together they represent a striking blend of ancient and medieval heritage of Poreč.
