Cathedral Church of Saint George

The Cathedral Church of Saint George is the main Orthodox church of Novi Sad, built in the second half of the 19th century in a Byzantine-Baroque style. Its iconostasis, the work of Paja Jovanović, ranks it among the most significant sacred buildings in the city. It is located in the very heart of the historic center, not far from the Bishop's Palace.
